MEDSYS2, Inc. that has been around since 2001 and has developed an
(EMR/EHR) electronic medical record, and electronic healthcare record system for medical clinics and hospitals with installations from New York City, through San Franscisco, California and Toronto, Canada. We've revamped and refocused our product line to accomodate the small to mid-sized medical practices with 1-3 providers, and 2-10 office staff.

From 1994 - 2001, Maryland Medical Rehabilitation, P.C. a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice of medical doctors had the insight to design a medical software that was written from the physicians point of view. In contrast to other systems that were designed to handle the business aspects of billing and scheduling. The software known as Maryland Medical System/2 was focused on generating medical notes, prescriptions, and completing documents required for the medical chart. The system had to be flexible and capable to allow the doctors to synch the medical chart to laptops for use while traveling away from the office.

In 1998 Maryland Medical System/2 was introduced to the medical community as a commercial product at the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation National Conference. During the same year the system was also introduced to the American Physical Therapy Association National Assembly in Washington, D.C. The system allowed for multiple exam profiles, including several of which are for Physical Therapists. In 2001, the software was renamed MEDSYS2. The 2012 release is culmination of 18 years of software development.

Our MEDSYS2 OASIS-C for the Home Health Providers will revolutionize the home health market allowing the small office, and independent nurses and therapists to have the capabilities as the larger organizations with the ability to automate their homecare notes. In particular the OASIS-C forms.
